As a matter of fact, most of the [WW2] soldiers in
the US Armed Forces were German and British.
...have anything to do with this?
Most soldiers had German and British descendents.
I would venture to say that most WW2 soldiers
in the US armed forces were Americans. And I would
also venture to say that the descendents of American
soldiers in WW2 were themselves American, and not
German or British.
In the off chance that you meant ancestors rather
than descendents, I would tell you having German
and British ancestors does not mean that most
American soldiers were thus German or British.
Or are you saying that there are no Americans
at all, since everyone's ancestors came from somewhere
else?
