Ok, this needs to be said. And you can take this as second-hand information -- my source is a firsthand eyewitness. He worked Department of Corrections road crews for 3 years and saw Border Patrol apprehensions routinely. And if that's not good enough, check out MI's profile page. Illegal crossers into Cochise County from Mexico include: Mexicans, Guatemalans, Nicaraguans, El Salvadorans, Chinese, Polish, Czech, Russian, and Egyptian nationals. And with Spiff's info, we now know (at least, I'm convinced) that Yemeni's have also crossed into the U.S. illegally. People I talk to within the Border Patrol are telling me that the number of OTMs (Other Than Mexicans) being apprehended have recently seen a sharp rise.

I'm not surprised that the OTM numbers have risen.
They've lost traditional means and methods of immigration after 9/11.
I'd lean more toward them having militaristic motives rather than economic as a reason for entering our county...and that's scary.
