Braga, in his testimony before the grand jury Tuesday, said Schultz did not obey commands to raise his hands so Braga could see them, and it appeared Schultz might be reaching for a weapon.

So sez the unsnipped report. It is easy to imagine how Schultz got flustered and obeyed the other officer who told him to get out of the car. Nobody hangs for this? Nobody???

The couple's attorneys are sorting out the police findings, preparing for possible civil lawsuits, while Braga's lawyer is preparing to defend against them.

Seems academic to me; isn't Braga indemnified by the FBI so that if Schultz should win the suit big it all comes from the treasury anyhow?

Schultz is not alone if it would have happened to me, being pulled over by an unmarked car, out pops a bunch of heavily armed plainclothes thugs,I probably would have died of cardiac arrest.

I'm not a lawyer but I would think that Braga would be indemnified by the FBI and even if he wasn't if Schultz did get a big settlement against Braga, I think all Braga would have to do is declare bankruptcy and Schultz would never recover a dime from Braga and Braga would still have his job with the FBI.
