Substitute *translations* for *texts* in deconstruction-speak. This is what she is up to. She has parlayed being a translator into being a noisy political activist. This is her claim to fame that makes her big shot in the academy.

I  skimmed some of her babble but I think she takes this a few steps further. Where all translations are valid. The ones done by oppressed and struggling 3rd world pipples are even more valid. Part of the deconstructionist "discourse" where "texts" are eliminated from curriculums when they are written by oppressive white males. Can't say I understand it all but it's amusing and dangerous.
