THANK YOU for posting this. I have read the Atkins book and been on the diet for a little bit. I must have had too much veggies because I barely lost any weight - however, I felt wonderful and had a lot of energy.
I must have had too much veggies because I barely lost any weight - however, I felt wonderful and had a lot of energy. My wife had the same problem -- too many veggies. When she started accurately counting her carbs with a chart and a digital scale, and adjusted her carb and calorie intake, the weight started to come off.
Note that Adkins does NOT recommend a veggie-free diet.
