Actually it is the idea we are FREE in spite of not as a result, of government that is a revolutionary idea that has yet to catch on elsewhere after 200 years. Its the idea of America since its Founding that drives our homegrown Taliban and the Eurotrash batty. How dare Americans believe government should be their servant rather than their master! Now there's exactly why America is the odd man out in the international community and proud of it. Think about it when you celebrate the Fourth of July weekend with your Flags, parades, fireworks, barbeques, and baseball games. Compared to the American idea of what makes freedom work, no one else has grasped the subversive nature of the American Revolution and its on that makes seemingly rational foreign adults act like we've lost our minds.
