Red, I hope I can push you at least a little in the "Take It" direction. It's YOUR MONEY they'll be offering you. You paid it in - you deserve to be able to take it out. THAT IS NOT WELFARE or anything like it. It's one of the few GOOD things that the federal government does with OUR money, so you damn well better take it.

Think of it this way too, Red, it's our money too, money that FReepers paid into through taxes . . . and maybe the only way some FReepers may be able to help you, through past money taxed........
