A "Wise Forestry Policy" would be to get the government out of the forestry business.

"A "Wise Forestry Policy" would be to get the [Federal]
government out of the forestry business." Devolve ownership and responsibility for our Federally-owned lands to the States and Localities...let the hometown folks make the decisions and we're much more likely to get a Common Sense approach.

"A "Wise Forestry Policy" would be to get the government out of the forestry business." Agreed, and while we're at it, every other business too.

if they would just give control of all that federal land to the various states, then I guarantee the entire situation would be much improved. When the state of arizona has bad policies the people can do something about it, but when washington has bad policies nobody can do anything about it.
