Will someone who understands Hebrew please advise the meaning of this name? It looks a bit like Jacob Faithful, or the reverse, Faithful Jacob. Am I close?
Looks the same to me. The name Amin means "trustworthy". I take it the "ov" is a Russian or Ukrainian suffix.
