Isaac Yeffet, the former director of general security for El-Al, blamed the attack on terrorists.

"The motivation would be he is part of Palestinian terrorists, or Hezbollah, Hamas, Islamic Jihad or even al-Qaeda," the network of Osama bin Laden blamed for the September 11 attacks, Yeffet told MSNBC.

I've been trying to read through all these posts, but there is just too many at one time to get all the details -- did anyone hear about stabbing in addition to the shooting?
