Im in the military, so I know about MAC... just didnt know what AMC's operation was like at LAX...

I'm only familiar with standalone AMC terminals like the one in Charleston at the AFB...

BWI has a large AMC terminal,as well.(Baltimore)The contract carriers,ATA,North American,ATI,etc.all operate 135 or charter services for the military. I asked about it once when I worked at BWI,and was told that the reason they are relocating AMC to civil and joint use airports,is for transfers and connections to civil aviation and the airlines.
