Byron,
Can you hook me up with this guy? If he actually believes this I have a bridge he might like to buy.
Mugabe and people like him run the numerical majority of the countries in the world. Therefore when it comes to deciding what "Crimes against humanity" are in the UN it will be this group who decides because they have the votes. And if you think that they will turn on each other when there are much bigger and fatter targets then you are out of your mind.
This bunch will define crimes against Humanity as you have food but we do not now hand over half your grain or we will put you on trial for crimes against humanity.
Forgive me but your friend is a moron.

Please be assured- he's no moron.
I'll agree with you that the ICC will be yet another loss of sovereignity for us all. If you can have Zimbabwe sitting on the UN Human Rights Commission, as they do now, one can only imagine what kind of judges they would have in residence at this farcical Court. And I laugh, to think that any UN body would have the will, to bring tyrants to justice; Pol Pot lived in luxury in Beijing, and Idi Amin's still in Saudi Arabia, without any intervention from them. Absolutely sickened and ashamed, to see how our PM John Howard gave in to the pro-ICC lobby; but I've learnt over the years that he always sells out conservatives, on matters of principle, so I really shouldn't have been so affected.
