God Bless America! It's a wonderful sight to see all the flags and banners. The fireworks this year seemed twice as magnificent as last year. Everything's more red, white and blue this year, I believe!

That's certainly the case for those of us residing in Mississippi, where I spent a happy 4th. And yep, the state flags here fit right in with your observation, too:
