The powers that be in the District of Corruption certainly will not 'go gentle into that good night'...and will in fact bring the republic down before they are denied power. The Clinton threat of 'scorched earth' during the Senate impeachment trial fiasco was a small symptom of this larger disease.

There are many who post here for whom I have the greatest respect. The consensus appears to be that, absent a 1776, there will be no change.
