I have a special bank account with the Royal Bank of Scotland that lets me order books, cds and dvds at a significant discount to Amazon plus FREE shipping. Hard to beat that. But the rub is, you have to do it over the telephone and read off all the ISBN numbers to see if they have the item or not, so we usually compile a big list of titles we want and do it all in one go. We have a pretty good list at the moment and your book is on it- we'll see if they have it or not and go from there.
Anyway, what I'm getting at is, if I were to get that book here to save myself some money at the moment, is there a way I could ship the book to you at a later date when I have some disposable cash and have you autograph it (assuming you'd want to autograph it)? I'd pay to have it shipped round trip of course. I don't know when this would be, but on down the road a piece for sure. At least a few months.
I look forward to reading it very much. I used to be a big Clancy fan but for some reason have skipped his later ones after I read Net Force (I liked the idea, but I thought he could've done more with it). I was also a big Stephen King fan but for the last few years I haven't had that fire to read whatever he wrote. It's like that sometimes, you get "author fatigue" I guess. But I've been wanting some new ideas in the war/techno thriller dep't to read and your book sounds like a great candidate. Can't wait to read it and when I do, I will give you some feedback!
Volume II will be available on Amazon in a few weeks and in the UK too.
With regards to your proposal ... yes. I have had several people already go that route for a John Henry since I stopped publically selling them. No problem, though I still hate messing up a perfectly good novel with my scribbling. LOL!
Just got my first comment on the guestbook at the main site form another individual in the UK who bought and read the book. It was my first comment from the UK. The comment before that was one from New Zealand!
Eagles Up!
