picked a fellow oil man to be his vice president and is advised by a Treasury secretary, former Alcoa chairman Paul O'Neill, who typifies the business culture with which Bush's presidency is infected and the entitlements it imagines are owed it?

The lead in to this about Enron execs is a crock of you know what. Reno seems to think there is shame in being a business executive. What is wrong with the "business culture"? Newsday who pays him is part of the business culture he disdains.

Thank you for that great tribute. Every time I hear that song I tear up. When my husband was still active duty Air Force that song was played at all the functions we went to and everybody stood up and sang right along with Lee Greenwood. I'm glad to see that patriotic feeling coming back and I hope it never goes away.

"Whoo yeah, honey, (fanning herself energetically!)"

If Dubya shows anymore chest hair or sweats you are going to need more than a fan to cool you down.

I know. It's so disgusting and that BS about all the Enron executives he hired in the administration? I want some numbers man. Ken Lay recommended about a dozen and W hired 2 that I know of. It's absolutely amazing how so-called journalists can be so fast and loose with the truth. And gee, Mr. Reno, what about the man at the top during the pump-and-dump 90s? Bill Clinton, man of no character whatsoever. Why are you so outraged at CEOs with no character? You and your cronies all told us that character doesn't matter. Right? Remember that? What a frickin' creep.

Just got home from seeing Windtalkers as my way of remembering those who fought and died for our freedom.

And we bought a new flag as our old one has faded to pink from being out 24/7 since 9-11. I'll go out soon and replace it, and fold the old one for the fire department.

Happy Independence Day, Freedom Lovers!

I was kinda bummed scrolling down the golf picture, how sexist of me to think it would be 3000 pixels and full length. LOL His brother Jeb's cute too but one looks like dad and the other looks like Mom. On another matter, I have the ninth circuit email address if anyone is interested. It's posted towards the end of my Jeb July Edition Photo Pit Stop.

You go girl, let's get mad together. I didn't like how he implied Cheney and O'Neill must be crooked because they were successful. Since when is it a sin to make something of yourself?

Hey MG...thanks for moderating our chat session regarding diets and exercise. I had to cut out as I remembered that I had steaming broccoli on the stove and a cheese sauce to boot. The broccoli was totally overdone and the cheese sauce was lumpy. Oh dear!
