3) Julie Mills, who works for Twin Peaks Cleaners and Shirt Laundry in Poway, testifies that Westerfield brought in a green sports jacket, two comforters and two pillow covers early Feb. 4. She says he acted "very distant" that morning and didn't respond to questions.
4) Kelly Belom, another Twin Peaks employee, says Westerfield returned later that afternoon with a pair of black pants, a black shirt and a black sweater. He asked for same-day service, but Belom told him it was too late in the day.

4) Daniel Conklin, a tow-truck driver in the desert town of Glamis, says Westerfield's motor home was stuck in a remote, sandy area where no motor home should have been. He helped pull the motor home out of the sand and thought he heard Westerfield talking to someone.
5) Beverly Jean Askey, a camper at Silver Strand State Beach, says she saw Westerfield's motor home parked with the curtains drawn. She didn't see anyone else come out of the vehicle.
6) Teresa Hastings, Nicole Arsenault, Jimmy Lee Rodgers, and Joyce Rodgers, who also were camping at the beach, testify to similar observations.
7) Olen Golden, a Silver Strand park ranger, says Westerfield overpaid for his camping spot by $30.
