Don't quite know, but when dumping a body, why pick poison oak of all places to put it in. Could be some sort of message -- like saying it with flowers.

It's very likely the body was dumped at night. More people wouldn't even recognise poison oak (ask my son). Meaningless tea leaf reading.

Why wasn't she thrown into the water across the street?
