If Danielle was a sleepwalker, was there a gate at the top of the stairs so she won't fall down them at night? If not, maybe she wasn't a sleepwalker. Also, wasn't it the masterbedroom where Damon shampooed the carpet because of the dog. Maybe it wasn't the dog that peed there, maybe it was Danielle when she died???

Excellent questions.

Danielle was not a "sleep-walker". Damon suggested this as one of the possible "alibis" he put forth on the first day of her disapperance.

We later learn, her sleepwalking was explained and limited to a "potty dance" around the parents bed, signaling she had to go to the bathroom. (By his time, DW was the prime suspect..no need to prove she sleep-walked out of the house.) Yes, Damon was quick to ask a neighbor if he saw Danielle because she "sleep-walked"..THIS was a set-up by Damon, in case the cops didn't buy his other charade of the "open door" and magnet display..Damon had all his bases covered. HE WAS the victim..afterall...yeah, right. Sleepwalking? Hardly.

I don't think Danielle was killed in her bedroom. The dog bed, Layla and the carpet cleaning should all be reexamined. But the carpet is now all replaced, and the walls repainted...whoops!

Looks like Westerfield wasn't the real Clean and Neat Freak...seems like the Van Dams could give this guy some competition there...grins.
