Didn't Damon STRESS in testimony that he put a gate in front of her door so no one could enter? I thought it was a strange comment..perhaps because it was an uncalled for free offer comment..if "felt " out of place..

Damon said he put the gate up...BVD said we put the gate up....another story that isn't consistant.

The gate was to keep people out and preserve evidence....preserve it, hell, it produced some out of thin air.
