Or DVD comes downstairs with a attitude and a hot temper, throws ice on the party. Everyone becomes somber and leaves. DVD then tells BVD what happened and what she is to say.
I still find it unbelivable that neither mom or dad checked in a 7 year old for 12 hours. And that they woke up, had a wonderful breakfast with their two children, then noticed one was missing.
Something happened in that house, the VD's know what it was and are covering to save their asses. DW might have some involvement but I doubt it.

I also believe that a parent that has been drinking and comes home "mellow" is more likely to check in on their chidren if they love them. Trust me. Its a drunk thing.

Well, that's something, isn't it? Another interesting thought - Danielle was close enough to at least one of her brothers, that she sometimes shared his room at night. Why didn't he look in on his sister?? Kids being kids and all, y'know - "C'mon Danielle, get up! Cartoons are on!"
