Are we to believe he has been downloading, catagorizing the porn and transferring it to cd's with file labels identical to his dad's, since he was 14 or 15, no less?

Are you actually questioning if a fifteen year old boy is interested in porn ? If so, a better question would be, what fifteen year old boy is not interested in looking at naked women ? The answer is obvious, of course teenage boys are interested in that unless they're abnormal.

If the porn was downloaded as large .ZIP file(s), the images and digital movies already may well have been compressed, CATEGORIZED and RECURSED into directories within the .ZIP file itself. Unzipping the file uncompresses the stored images and depending on the flags passed to the unzip program, directory names and structures are also restored. Then again, if the porn was downloaded in BULK from a USENET newsgroup, the thousands of images also may very well be categorized and prenumbered. Or perhaps, if the pornography was downloaded from a web site, using either http or ftp to transfer the pictures may very well be categorized into directories and file numbers on the web site server or they can be stored in various intermediate file formats.

Yes, but on some of the disks or zips, the file names used prefixes identical to those used by DAW for business files. I don't think Neal was downloading and renaming files using those prefixes.

That teenage boys will surf porn, I have no doubt. That Neal has been creating a personal collection on zips and cds stored in his dad's office since he was 14? NIMO.

The son may have surfed porn sites, but the collection belongs to his father, who admitted to owning it to LE.
