The d**m pubbies have the same problem as the rats, just the kind of blackmailable position a fascist like Clinton liked to put them in to force their compliance and silence - "every body does it." I am sure Davis enjoys knowing that.

But is it illegal? And what happens to the passed legislation? I really think the only way it could make a difference is if it were unconstituitional. After all, the assembly gets to make it's own rules.
On the other hand, how about a constitutional amendment which requires recorded voice votes?
