FRIENDS
Good friends are hard to find in this world of strife,
And should be cherished each day of your life.
Truth is, friends can be fun,
When all is said and done.
They impress you with fascinating charms,
And welcome you with open arms.
They lend an ear and give an encouraging word.
And they tell stories that you've never heard.
Friends are like rare jewels, indeed.
They encourage you to succeed.
They give you words of praise,

Their compassion is pure and true.

They are always there with love to share,

What a spiritual experience God has created...
When the bonds of friendship are permeated.
Such a wonderful way for your soul to be fed...
And with true friends, you'll not be misled.
They are there in your hour of need;
That's why friends are special indeed.
So... show your friends how much you care;
Tell them that you too will be there.
Now's the time to express appreciation
To them for such a wonderful relation.

And tell them just how much they mean to you.
Tell them they have a special place in your heart,
And that it would hurt you if you ever did part.
