Seemingly a typo........how did 'Ms. Rice' get in this article.........?

What did Bush know and when did he know it? He knew that he hadn't gotten enough in the Sammy Sosa trade? And he knew it when Sosa started hitting 60 homers a year?
LOL! I've always loved your sense of humor, Dales!
On a more serious note, just how realistic is it that Trent Lott and others could get the testimony of Ijaz and Carney in front of the Senate Intelligenc Committee? I'm not asking "should they," but "Could they?"
I'm wondering if this is something we need to push.
To: Nita Nupress
I think that if Colin Powell keeps hammering on it, it will happen.

But you know, a whole lotta letters to the editors of various papers might just help...

"It's a joke. He's a crackpot," added Palmieri, now the chief spokeswoman for the Democratic National Committee. We all know this about Clintoon. It's refreshing that the DNC is now saying it.

"Then, as I understand it, there was an offer to send him to us," Carney recalled. The Clinton administration rebuffed the overture because, Carney said, "we did not have an indictment (against bin Laden) at the time." Oh, yeah, Clinton cares so much about following the letter of the law. He'll twist the legal system into a pretzel when it's a matter of saving his own worthless hide, but won't bother with seeking legal justification to act when it's a mere issue of national security.

that's Trent the Spineless on the left. And on the right, the ever-dashing and gallant Sir Sean. He's still one of the sexiest men who ever drew a breath!

"He's lying," former Clinton spokeswoman Jennifer Palmieri said in May. "The guy has absolutely no credibility." "It's a joke. He's a crackpot," added Palmieri, now the chief spokeswoman for the Democratic National Committee.
Contact: Jennifer Palmieri at 202-863-8148.
Perhaps she can urge the Democrats on the Senate Intelligence Committee to depose Mansour Ijaz.

These discussions of Bush didn't do this and Clinton didn't do this and Bush I didn't do this, are getting really ridiculous. Responding to Gore and allowing him the spotlight is also ridiculous. There is enough blame to go around to fill a crater on the moon. Let's see 4000 dead or missing and all DC can do is to point fingers at each other for political points.
Can we stand united on anything anymore?

The committee investigating this is a joint House/Senate committee with co-chairmen. The Senate Chairman is (D) Senator Graham and the House Chairman is (R) Representative Goss. Goss would have the power to have these guys appear.

I would consider this a WORK HAZARD. ick, ick, ick!!!!You have a lot of company. Before we were married, my then-girlfriend and I were discussing the Monica matter. I told her how I'd heard that many women found him sexually attractive. I'll never forget the look on her face as she replied, "I'd rather switch to women."

Careful, fellow, I will tell my wife that you called Sean Connery a guy in drag! She and other senior groupies for Sean will hunt you down like a rabid skunk! Hell, even my DIL and her Mother's group will join my wife and her group to hunt you down!
One never makes fun of Sean Connery!

Sorry to burst your "can't we all just get along" bubble, but when it comes to national security and the loss of innocent American lives we deserve to know who and what went wrong and how to fix it.
To: Republic
I just wonder WHY Why? Simple, think with a legacy like the clintons, and values they hold, bin laden running loose is like gold. He wanted the administration that follows him to take the hit of bin laden's hate for America. He hoped that a disaster like 9.11.02 will make his legacy look much less disgusting to the American people. After all his mantra has always been: Everything is realtive. What is a few felonies compared to more than 3000 dead, and the obleteration of the WTC, and the resulting Economic chaos that he thought will surely follow. After all the clintons are the smartest couple that ever live, and surely would never let an opportunity slipped by unexploited.

I am not one who promotes "can't we all just get along". I am far from that type of person. But the endless debates without a common frame of reference really gets no one anywhere. As far as the rest of your post is concerned. Where would you like to start? Or should I say which war would you like to start with? The same thing is has been said about the attack on Pearl Harbor. The faults here can start at the Johnson Administration and they can go on and on and on, to include this Administration. . Right now we are at war. Right now we have a lot of problems. How about focusing that energy on fixing the problems. The idea is to learn our lessons and not repeat them. Then again that is more than likely a dream too.
