Fred, thank you very much for keeping me up to date despite my frequent absences. This is stunning and I think it finally is being allowed to trickle out. I guess they hope it'll be less shocking that way.
I remember hearing a few brief reports about Chinese gov't sponsored visits to Taliban right around the time of 9/ll and some follow up visits later, but this new info on the extent of their involvement is a HUGE revelation and is certainly going to initiate some major behind the scenes infighting in DC.
