I was responding to those who thought it inconceivable that he would say we. Even after I had posted that I had heard it myself.I don't think "we" was said out of habit and it had nothing to do with congeniality. It was a just a mistake!

I know people who say "we" when they're describing something they did "alone" and I still can't figer out WHy.
