Don't get Legal and Moral confused. It was legal to kill Jews; but it wasn't moral. So what would you do? Follow the law or follow your conscious?

I remember Michael New very well. I thought he was right then, just as Bush is right now. He's a young Texan I'm proud of.

Michael New is no better than Bill Clinton in terms of the contempt he's shown for our military. He disobeyed a direct order. For that he got what was coming to him. No different than the officers that publically denigrated Bill Clinton as commander in chief. A real solider must at ALL times keep their military bearing.

Sorry, pal you're WRONG. Obediance in the military is not ABSOLUTE without qualifiers, else we'd end up giving the same defense as the Nazis at Nuremberg. We are to obey all lawful orders, in accordance with the UCMJ - and above all, with the US Constitution as the guiding, ultimate document of our allegiance.

VA, your flippant response to the post above proves my point. -- You are a phony, neither a vet, nor a lawyer, and you do NOT honor our constitution.
Thanks for 'outing' yourself once again.

And he got what he deserved. Case closed.

You're always chasing that mouse, aren't ya?

You ARE drinking again! :(

I'm starting to think you never bothered with military service to this country.
You're certainly doing all you can to avoid an honest answer... but then you are a Laaw-ya

And he got what he deserved Yes, he did. He has the admiration of a lot of people. He holds the status of hero and beacon to others who need to see that there are people in this world who actually care. He has the privilege of being noted as someone who actually made a difference. He is looked up to not only by young people and his peers, but even by adults who are still able to be inspired. When we think of what he did for us, we group him in with the same men and women who fought for our freedoms in previous wars. Just because he isn't carrying a gun here, doesn't mean he isn't fighting a war for our country. He is a true soldier.
What will you leave as your mark on this planet, VA?

So did Lee Harvey Oswald, Violette. Honey, its God, Family, and Country for me. This guy disrespected the United States Military. There's no room for a coward like that in my America.

TP, you're not that confusing. In fact, you're as easy to figure out as a three piece puzzle.

May I speculate here that Mr VA
'the Laaw-ya' Advogado serves not our country, but only himself, by raking in handsome fees from frightened ILLEGAL Mexicans who have, shall we say ... INS problems.
This is what he would call 'service to the country'.

Your calling New a coward seems illogical to me. When choice 1 is to go along with the crowd, and choice 2 is to take an action that you know will end your career and result in court martial, is taking choice 2 a cowardly act?

Sorry, never heard of a '3 piece puzzle', -- you using some sorta mental hospital jargon, VA?

Since you seem to need to spend so much time staying up on all your local KY gossip, I'm not a bit surprised at your total lack of understanding around such a basic concept as national sovereignty.
