"What, no snappy reply to my post 72? You gonna want to know about my service record? Fine, Commander, USNR. Born and raised in Illinois. DMG, University of Illinois Navy ROTC. Nine years active duty in DD's, DDG's and FFG's with the Atlantic Fleet. Recalled to fight the Battle of the Pentagon during Desert Storm. And if I ever had an insubordinate SOB like Mike New under my command I'd kick is ass from here to next Christmas and then I'd toss what was left of it into the brig.

You, sir, sound like an arrogant, condecending SOB. Try chilling out with your Billy Bad Ass remarks and folks might actually want to understand your point of view.

"If Michael New is a patriot for refusing duty with the UN then what does that make Colonel Higgins for serving? And by all means please show me where service with UN forces is unconstitutional."

IMHO it makes him poorly informed/educated concerning his Constitutional duties while serving in the capacity of a Commissioned Officer of the United States Naval Service.

Either that, or he just didn't give a second thought concerning the oath of his office.

You might want to glance in the mirror and then read the reparte that led up to the posted bio. In a bar there would have been quite a dust-up and rughtfully so.

A Texan ahead of his time? Given the spat between Bush, and the congress against the ICC, I would say he was pretty much ahead of his time.

He should be given an honorable discharge. Bush should fix this.

(In my best Columbo) Excuse me uhh, 'Commander', just one more thing I've noticed ... but in your haste to demonize and vilify Sp4New were you tempted to be just a wee bit disingenuous perhaps?

The "proof" article you provide us reveals NO evidence to back up your serious allegation that Michael New "... attempt(ed) to sell (narcotics)" ...

The article clearly states that he "... was caught forging prescriptions for a drug commonly used to battle anxiety". The article says NOTHING about him selling narcotics. Just a slight difference I'd say.

The article also does not state as you allege, that he has ever ..." done time for it", only that it was a second arrest -- the first arrest he was fined $500 and given 7 years probation.

Oh, and one more thing, your article is in fact from World Net Daily, dated 2/8/00, NOT, "From the dipsh*t's own website" as you state.

So how about it Commander ... got any real, honest proof to back up your words, or shall we just chalk it all up to your propensity for careless, slanderous exaggeration, and a certain ahhh, shall we say ...Lack of attention to Detail ??

How U.N.~Commanderly of you. (don't bother to parden the pun)

Murdered by pro-Iranian terrorists in Lebanon some time in 1988 or 1989. Is he scum, too?
Not scum, just worm dirt. What's with the cookie? It follows on preview even.

...the metal of honor?
It's the Medal of Honor, not metal! I'm not the spelling police by a long shot, but that is simply inexcusable.

It cost him a lot to take the stand he did. A lesser person would have simply caved in and gone along with Clinton's World Government scheme. Think about the price Michael New paid when a scumbag, a traitor, and a rapist like Clinton lives high on the hog. New did it to preserve our constitutional ideals and American national sovereignty. Contrast his principled stand with Clinton's self serving political butt covering conduct. Then ask yourself which one America deserves to salute for being faithful to her and to our form of government not a distant and unelected U.N.

"A Texan who was perhaps ahead of his time?"

...or perhaps just an American who really MEANT it when he swore to uphold the Constitution....

....and who isn't afraid to make a stand for what's right.

Please tell me how being assinged to serve with the UN is unconstitutional? During different periods in my time in the Navy my ship was assigned to duties with a flotilla under the command of a German officer and a Brazilian officer. Was that unconstitutional?

I did. Non-Sequitur's so full of himself that his buttons were popping off. He couldn't wait to be asked about his bio. Instead, he came off as boasting and trying to be pitifully macho 'with what he'd do with Michael New under his command', remark. He was so obnoxious, I had to comment.... sorry.
