Amen. Strange this thread showed up this morning. I was talking to a fellow pastor yesterdy during a funeral. She is new in town. She was telling me about her little girl who has "so many problems" and needs so much special help. According to her , the child has something called severe attachment disorder, ADHD, and a host of other behavior problems. Seems the child does things just to get an emotion reaction from mommy. (well, duh?). Seems the child doesn't understand what is dangerous and does things that can get her hurt (well, duh?). Seems mommy can't control the child and punishes her by putting her in a "safe" room until she can control herself. I'm sorry if I appear non-compassinate, but I met said child later in the day, and my long years of experience as a mother, tells me that said child would benefit greatly from a well places switch to her backside. This young mother has boufht all the so-called "expert" diagnosises and is ruining her child in the process. Very very sad.

Perhaps part of the problem the Pastor has is the Pastor is a SHE......think?
