going on five months without a dip of cope, oops, had a couple with my little brother this weekend, but here it is Wednesday, and still no snuff. I quit with cigars, small cigarellos,(sp) worked for me, Every now and then I have cigar to take the edge off, one every other day or so. That and the topic of this thread makes it much easier. The thing that made me quit was the urge to quit, and the constant nagging my the wife and kids, Good luck and keep an empty bottum lip.....

You too, man. You know the weirdest thing about quitting? The way the inside of my wasn't wrinkled anymore. Kinda nice!

Of course, I still need to get the gum surgery my dentist is insisting on. He says I need a gum graft -- he wants me to pay money to have some feller cut out part of my soft palette and sew it into my gums! Wish I'd known about that pleasant procedure before I started!

More power to you. When I was off, I wanted to tear a tree out of the ground out of frustration. The gum helped a bit. Now I know what my Dad went through when he quit smoking his constant Winstons. I hope you keep it up.
