If someone is mentally ill, it's generally pretty obvious, particularly if their behavior is that aberrant.

Once you have neutralized the threat, and restrained the individual you have no right to continue beating her.

Personally, I'm not much on people who hit women, or someone who is restrained or defenseless. If I were on the plane, and you continued to assault that person, I would turn my attention to you, and you'd soon be wearing restraints and sitting right beside her.

On the other hand, if it were a bunch of raghead terrorists, I'd make an exception, and would join you in beating them bloody and senseless.

Ditto your reply. Perhaps our friend does not understand the concepts of "continuum of force," "excessive force," and ""aggravated assault".....
