In a free republic, what else are things that don't need to be here?
If someone can afford a SUV, Caddy, or whatever...what difference does that make to those without them? I have yet to see any logical arguement against an individual's right to own and drive whatever they desire.
If something is legal to own and use, that is all there is needed to justify it.

But SUVs aren't famous for being fuel efficient and when we're dependent on terrorist producing nations for oil, a shift in tastes toward smaller more fuel efficient cars would help a lot.
