We should recognize that blaming the religion of Islam for the barbaric behavior of some of its followers is illogical. Any more than it would be logical to blame Judaism if some of the more Orthodox Jews started taking the relevant passages a little too literally.

Not only is it illogical, it is unjust, and goes against the grain of conservatism whereby each and every individual is judged solely by their merits, by the content of their character, and not by their skin color or membership in some larger group. Only Democrats and other liberals (and apparently Mastoi tribesmen) use group-identity, group-grievance, and group-politics. I understand we are at war, and with an enemy we cannot easily identify and kill, and hence it is natural to lash out against the cruelties of September 11th. We will win, but not by blindly embracing group-identities and group-hatreds which the liberals like to do.

CJ you amaze me. Never did I expect to see such an individualist outlook emanating from your fingertips. Will you soon be standing side by side with us in the homo-bashing threads insisting that just because some homos are child abusers, that we shouldn't condemn all homosexuals as child abusers???

As far as religions and cultures go, I'd have to say most believers of, say, Christianity or Islamism, are better than their religion. The Bible and the Koran are very brutal. Most believers have far gentler personalities, are far more forgiving, and are far more tolerant than the religious founders / scripture writers were.

Good grief! -- It is hard to believe your God has not send down a bolt from heaven to punish your hypocrisy, CJ.

Un-FReeking-believable that YOU would have the gall to lecture this thread, & this forum on judging individuals on their merits/character rather then on their group membership.

-- Virtually your every post, for months, even years now, has raved about libertarian ideologes.

- Now you admit that this is a favored tactic of democrats & liberals.
-- Your own brush has tar on it, CJ baby. -- Be ashamed.

Be VERY ashamed, --- of your own 'group hatred'.
