It is hard to believe there are areas of the world, entire cultures, that believe this is "justice."

Nobody's posted any evidence of this. So far, what we have is one smallish village. Not a whole "area of the world." It will be interesting to see if anybody over there attempts to defend these actions.

Keep moving that goalpost. Eventualy, nobody will be able to hit it.

Nobody seems to have pointed out this highly relevant part of the article:

"Awan said police were taking action against members of the Panchayat."

Why don't we wait and see what action they take before condemning a billion people as accessories to this crime?
