Any torture lately?Nahh. If I remember correctly, the last case was in 1850s or 60s Rome, when it was still under the rule of the Pope. But I could certainly be wrong about that.
The Inquisition didn't require torture, the Papal Inquisition means something other than what the Spanish Inquisition meant and the the Spanish kings were going on their own for the most part without approval from the Pope.
