Peter Singer is incorrect. Many many Christians do love and adore animals. I've seen many posting here at freep and know many myself.

A lot of pet owners here at freep would go broke keeping their beloved cat or dog alive.

I think PS is just blowing smoke. I absolutely adore my animals. In addition, there are even some freepers/Christians (etc) that are vegetarians! Even some that are..(gasp!) vegans!!

So...he's trying to paint a picture with a wide brush that is incorrect. Many many PEOPLE love animals.
