You all are being intellectually dishonest, and you know it. Regardless of what you believe in terms of Bush's effectiveness or politcal bent, it's clear that he's not the brigtest bulb in the chandelier. It's knee-jerk defensive reactionary arguments like the postings above that leave free-thinkers everywhere unable to accept or believe the rest of the Conservative agenda. You're doing your own cause harm.

I am? I refuse to believe that! And as for Bush being "not the brightest bulb in the chandelier" how do you personally know that to be true? Have you studied his educational credentials and his experience as a Governor of a big State as indicators of a lack of brains? If so, what are your "facts" that lead to your conclusion? Liberals have had a field day with that drivel for more than a year, but Bush proves daily that he is well above IGore in the brains department. He's certainly above the RAT leaders that spend most of their air time lying. Bush demonstrates he is well above the Eurotrash, socialist leaders in the brains and logic departments.
Methinks you are nothing more than a free thinking liberal with no conservative values. If I'm correct, there is no way to have a reasonable discourse with a free thinking liberal.

not the brightest bulb in the chandelier?
He's the first President ever with an MBA, unlike AlGore who flunked out of college. Besides that, though, the worst Presidents we've had were the egghead intellectuals, including Carter, Wilson, and co-President Hillary "the smartest woman in the world" Clinton. It's most important to have good advisors surrounding you... otherwise Stephen Hawking would be Commander-in-Chief.
