Western Virginia (not West Virginia) is very rural and mountainous. It's a good place to get lost. Except for the DC Metro area, Richmond, Roanoke and Tidewater, Virginia is very rural. Please don't let Northern VA establish your opinion of The Old Dominion.

Although Northern Virginia is becoming more and more populated with these minority types, Virginia is still abeautiful state and the movement of these groups into the area is disturbing to say the least!
