Radical Muslims in rural Virginia in the 21st century?

Not sure if they were radical, but there were quite a few Muslims picnicking at Claytor Lake State Park 40 miles SW of Roanoke yesterday. Many people took notice when the men dropped to their knees and started praying in the direction of the lake. (Is Allah a water dweller?) Many in our party were kind of hoping that Allah would inform them that they were parked in a NO PARKING zone. Another in our party recently returned from her former home in Minnesota, and she informed us that people from the Middle East were buying up service stations "right and left" in the Minneapolis area. What's up with that?

Radical ragheads hijacking 4 planes and sucessfully flying 3 of them into buildings in the U.S. sounded like Tom Clancy type fiction to me on Sept. 10.
