Rebuild the towers. Nothing would lift this city's morale more than seeing them back where they belong. Plus we need the financial activity there again. Pataki is a fool.

They not only should rebuild, they should be even taller than before (but, please, let's do something about that boxy design, a nice elaborate classical/postmodern look would be better). I say make 'em 2,000 feet high !

To be sure, NYC suffered horrendously, and in no way am I minimizing the loss. It was/is something I can not even begin to imagine, even though I watched the horror that morning on TV.

That being said, it was an attack on our nation. The best message we can send is to rebuild better and stronger. As many times as they knock us down, we can get up.

We are Americans and our country is great because our spirit is strong. Yes, we need a memorial, and MHO is rebuilding with a memorial included in the plan is the best course.

Reagan said to tear down the wall. Now the time has come for us to say "We will rebuild our walls."

I agree whole heartedly, the towers must be rebuilt. It will show the Muslim extremists that nothing they can do can will alter our way of life. The towers should be higher than ever and be filled with business people making the American people rich.

The rebuilt towers should, of course, include a memorial to those who died. However, I believe that the terrorist would view a memorial, in an empty lot, to be a sign of their victory.
