And this is exactly why the constitution was enacted, to prevent tyranny of the majority.

Nonsense. Your statement by definition means that the constitution enshrines the tyranny of the minority. Her is a clue, there is NO right, inalienable or enumerated in the constitution, not to be offended

If you think a pledge of allegiance with the words "under God" amounts to tyranny, whether of the majority or otherwise, you really need to take a closer look at history.
