Wow, we all knew he was a big liar, but it's nice when you can come up with some proof on paper!

Davis, I understand, announced the other day that Lockyer will appeal the Ninth Circuit's decision. Does he have any standing to appeal that decision when his government, as the Ninth Circuit's decision attests, took no stand in the Ninth Circuit's initial decision? Haven't he and his government already defaulted in the case, by that failure?

I'm really looking forward to the day when we can say, proudly, GOVERNOR SIMON.

Service of Summons by Certified Mail alone is NOT good service within the State of California. CCPs415.50
This would have required personal service on the "the clerk, secretary, presdient, presiding officer or other head of its governing body" (e.g.the A.G.)CCPs416.50, a very easy thing to do for anyone in Sacramento. They are not hard to find.
This does not mean that Davis is not a typical lying leftie for, of course, he is.

That's really great! Except this:

He failed to act ...to prevent offshore oil drilling

Huh? Sounds like score one for Davis. (The only one, but one all the same.)

Dan

Gray Davis' failures as governor continue to accumulate with each day he is in office," Simon said. "He failed to act in the energy crisis, in the budget crisis, to prevent offshore oil drilling, on the needs of California veterans, and now it is clear the governor failed to act in defending the Pledge of Allegiance. This list goes on and on. California just cannot afford this kind of failure."

Too cool. Davis is an idiot of superiority.

Look at the timing of this ATTACK on America's belief in God. It is just DAYS before July 4th.

What if America does suffer Terrorist Attacks on July 4th? We'll be so distracted by the events, that in 45 days when this Ninth Court Ruling is due for review...

No one will even care anymore. And without Public Protest, ONE NATION UNDER GOD will disappear forever.

No matter what happens, we must REMEMBER to fight this assault on the Pledge of Allegiance. It's a fight for Liberty, and the Freedom to Believe...

I think Davis really had no idea and shot from the hip, thinking that nothing of this magnitude could have gotten past Lockyer.
