The U.S. Congress is even weighing legislation authorizing U.S. forces to invade The Hague Alright! Finally Congress shows some cajones.

Can anyone explain to me why we even bother with the UN -- all we do is house these Communist, American-hating spies in our midst. Why is it exactly that we shouldn't close up shop and send them all packing?

The U.S. Congress is even weighing legislation authorizing U.S. forces to invade The Hague, where the court will be based, in the event prosecutors grab a U.S. national. Isn't it easier just to cut funding for the Kangaroo Tribunal and to stop giving political support to the clowns like Carla?

Bush renounced the treaty after the United States signed it while his predecessor Bill Clinton was in the White House. Another Clinton sell out. He was not at all qualified to be a president. Not at all. He tried his best to tear down the U.S. Thankfully, he didn't quite make it. We're pulling through his reign of terror. It can only get better. I don't think it could get any worse than the way he left it.

Hows about, giving Milosevic a medal and replace our troops in Kosovo with the Serbian Army? It's their country afterall. They, with Russia, and Israel would form a 'solid' core in fighting 'terrorism'. More dependable in the 'long' haul than the EU.
Hey Wraith, jump on this, you been there, what do you think, any ideas on how to get us out of this mess?

The moment we get a Democratic President this all goes off the table and we will drop any pressure against the court. Its like a ratchet, the Republicans just slow it down and as soon as a Democrat gets in....click.

passing it on...

I think an MP Platoon could handle that mission....

Great suggestion. I would strongly support a return of the Yugoslav army to Kosovo...a lightening offensive that would capture as many KLA/MPRI as possible. The Serbs could then set up their own "war crimes" tribunal and keep the firing squads busy for a year or two.

Amen
There may still be time to hand Kosovo back over to its rightful owners before the UN starts demanding that we hand Florida, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, and California over to Mexico on the same perverted basis.

replace our troops in Kosovo with the Serbian Army Wasn't that supposed to be done a couple of years ago?

Stick to your guns. US sovereignty is far more valuable to Americans than the "seats in suits" at the UN. If the UN will not exempt US personnel for the missions that they ask us to carry out, kick the UN out of the US. Let THEM enjoy Saudi Arabia!

As important as this issue is, it dwarfs in comparison to the importance of ensuring that the UN does not obtain taxing authority over anyone or anything, anywhere.
