President Bush announced today that he will undergo a colonoscopy tomorrow at Camp David, a routine checkup after doctors found benign polyps a few years ago. The procedure will mark the first time there has been a transfer of power to the Vice President while a President has been sedated for a medical procedure. When asked how he feels, the President said that he felt fine and was looking forward to an afternoon of exercise, after the procedure is done. Earlier in the day, Bush attended a fundraiser for Rep. Connie Morella, R-Md. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

This is a thread about President Sabertooth................
Stop it!
To: Miss Marple; Howlin
Ninnies indeed. I refuse to watch or listen to their discussion of the President's procedure. (Didn't we go through something like this with either his father or with President REagan?Z
Howlin - yes rain - again - thank GOD - but another big bout of lightning coming through - so will probably shut the puter down again......not that I am complaining - we need the rain so badly.
Miss Marple - yes most of the NC Republicans are ready to work together to get things done....but the sad thing is the Demoratic machine here is so far reaching and entrenched - and VERY VERY RICH - it is always an uphill struggle.

I don't
want to see diagrams, and I don't want to hear doctors talking about the 'beauty' of this procedure, or gas pains, or diarrhea, or anything else like it! LOL!
CyberAnt, may the President's procedure also require no further surgery.
MM, the rocks are in the mail! :o)

Yeah, but they ain't no Mushrooms...
Talk about style!

I've had the procedure twice now, and will go on having it every 2 or 3 years, probably for the rest of my life. The procedure itself is no big deal, although the nurse or tech really messed up one of my IVs the last time, and left me with a big ol' bruise, even though I don't normally bruise easily. The bad part is the prep. Brings a whole new meaning to the phrase "cleans like a white tornado". :)

Great pictures, Rintense. Have I had too much wine, or is Mrs. Welch doing something strange with her finger?

Yes, wonderful pics rintense. Especially to all those of us who wanted to catch a glimpse of George before the procedure, JUST to feel a little better about the whole thing. WE'RE PRAYING FOR YOU, SIR!
(Well, I could have said we're all behind you!)Seriously, our prayers for your good health and long life are right by your side, Mr. President!!!
Hey, SuziQ...don't you think that is a cute suit on both of our finest ladies? I've seen Laura wear that one before, and loved it...but I also love her Mom's suit - great color on her, too!

Haha, so you noticed it too. That's Laura's mother and I never thought I'd see her finger in the air.
