President Bush announced today that he will undergo a colonoscopy tomorrow at Camp David, a routine checkup after doctors found benign polyps a few years ago. The procedure will mark the first time there has been a transfer of power to the Vice President while a President has been sedated for a medical procedure. When asked how he feels, the President said that he felt fine and was looking forward to an afternoon of exercise, after the procedure is done. Earlier in the day, Bush attended a fundraiser for Rep. Connie Morella, R-Md. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

"If he stands in the back yard he could be a scare crow"
I don't know, Mike. Aren't scare crows rather... well...animated?

I like your comparison of Gore to a scare crow. Why do I keep hearing music with words something like, "If I only had a brain."

Men seem to lose weight a lot easier than women.....guess it's a metabolism thing..... That, and all the imaginary sex they have. It has to burn calories. How else can it be explained?
Okay, before 50 hundred guys jump on that statement, I am referring not only to the unverifiable statements guys make about this, but also to ... how shall I say it ... the unacted-on mental and physiological response generated by the sight of an attractive female ... in other words, all the thinking about it that goes on.

The President does look a bit tired. Hope the procedure goes well. I just had the same about a month ago, the preparation is what is most exhausting, but well worth it for it did reveal problems I didn't know existed.

These people are so used to lying that they don't even think about it. They just say whatever they think is politically expedient Speaking of .. did you happen to hear Rush's show yesterday ..
Apparently a few callers caught Gephart is a big olde lie about Enron and the meeting he had with the employees

In fact, Greta is doing this now. I have never liked the name Greta, EVER, but I have never been more glad than now that my father named me Gretchen and not Greta. She gives me da kreeps.

Love Laura! Our President looks very tired. Hope he can get some rest.
To: GretchenEE
Love the name Gretchen, but never had a daughter! Now Molly is a name folks give their pet dogs,or goat or cows. I'd trade you any day!
To: ejo
I've heard about the 'cleansing' process. Are you ok? Nothing too major I hope.
To: McLynnan
I would love to see some photos of Laura's mother at Laura's age, and comparisons of them throughout life at the same age. Laura seems to me to look and be built very similarly to her mom, except taller.

Commie is a RINO.
Just look at her voting record.
It was strange tonight to see her make a conservative stance.

Did anybody see my post yesterday remarking on the remarkable resemblance of that gentleman to LBJ? I did and you are absolutely correct, and it is frightening to see, especially from that angle posted yesterday because to me it evokes horrific images from the Viet Nam war when Lyndon Baines Johnson corrupted and defiled America, brought riots to the homeland, and sent thousands to die ... who didn't have to die. He was a monster in my opinion. And his face showed it.
