At severe risk of getting my head bit off, is it utterly impossible to imagine that some Jew, somewhere, might have committed a ritual murder?

There are deranged Jews just as there are deranged Christians, Muslims and pagans. Members (or ex-members) of all of these groups have indeed committed such acts. During the Middle Ages some Jewish groups got involved in some pretty heavy occult and magical practices. Human sacrifice usually seems to pop up whenever such groups get too "into" what they're doing, regardless of the religous background of the participants.

Of course, what the article is talking about is the claim that all Jews commit ritual murder as part of their religion, which is ridiculous and beneath contempt. However, a knee-jerk reaction that ANY Jew accused of such a practice MUST be innocent seems equally illogical.
