I'm still 100% behind Jeb. In fact, the other night I dragged my mom to a kickoff meeting of the local RPOF committee in order to support his bid for re-election. He's a shoo-in, but we aren't taking anything for granted. I find it somewhat ironic that I, a registered Libertarian, am doing considerably more than the vast majority of registered Republicans in this area to get Jeb elected.

I can certainly sympathize with Jeb's position -- he's outnumbered and outgunned in rolling back the decades of social engineering and bloated "education" programs that do nothing for parents as far as school quality and choice, and instead simply ensure the same smug fatcats continue to run the show to their benefit alone. As a staunch Constitutionalist, I find myself in similar positions of isolation on a daily basis. Like Jeb, I will continue to stand on principle, even if that means that I often stand alone.

And as for "The teachers union president seems unaware of this part of the state constitution", make no mistake -- they know it full well. They simpply ignore it and attempt to keep the rest of us in ignorance, since it doesn't further their leftist agenda.
