My question in all of this is what can a circuit judge do about abortion anyway? Why should it even be an issue? He can't overrule the SC.

Their other tactic is even more repugnant. I guess they are trying to say if you are from a state that was part of the Confederacy you are automatically a racist.

I am not going to hold my breath for Lott & Co. to speak out on this idiocy.

The abortion issue is foremost in the mind of liberals because of the Supreme Court. If, in the next few years, several of the justices retire, they would have to be replaced by President Bush - who would of course want to send to the Supreme Court people who could reverse Roe vs. Wade. This is why the liberals want to make sure that no conservatives get appointed to the bench. That is what this whole judicial mess is all about. The liberal dems won't say that, but that's the truth.
