Dear Heavenly Father,

I thank You for this day and for the many blessings You have given us. I thank You that we are indeed one nation under God and that no court can negate that fact. Lord, You have been with us from the beginning, see us through this.

Father, I lift up to You President Bush and ask that You would give him wisdom and discernment in all of his doings. Help him to be courageous in standing up for truth and to fight that which will harm this nation. Help him to stand in Your strength and might and to win each and every battle that honors You. And, protect him and his family from every form of evil.

Father, I lift up to You the unborn in this nation. They are helpless Lord, and many are dying because of selfish decisions. Lord, move in the hearts and minds of Americans and cause them to be as incensed about abortion as they are about what is happening with the pledge.

Go with us the rest of this day, Lord, and make this evening a real blessing for all. For it is in the precious and holy name of Christ Jesus my Lord that I pray these things, Amen.

Amen...Lord, give your servants boldness, strength and wisdom....watch over and protect our leaders, Lord.

Your word says that no weapon formed against us shall prosper...so I pray tonight that all of the devices of the enemy of our souls will be turned back on his own head in a way that will shock and illuminate the world in these critical days just ahead for our nation.

We also pray tonight for the peace of Jerusalem...protect your people from harm, both spiritually and physically.

In the mighty name of Jesus our Lord. Amen
